Boyd Clewis is a firm believer in giving back. With his success in the cybersecurity industry, he considers it his responsibility to pay it forward to help the next generation of professionals to achieve their dreams the same way that he was able to.

FORT WORTH INDEPENDENT

SCHOOL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Boyd has partnered with Fort Worth Independent School to mentor students at Eastern Hills High School. As a former graduate of the same high school, Boyd feels a personal call to expose the students with opportunities.

Through the program, his goal is to expose them to the opportunities in the technology space, provide mentorship based on his experience, and eventually hire them for his own company. In addition to in-school sessions, the students get to experience the possibilities that await them in training sessions and field trips to the Baxter Clewis headquarters.

When I was growing up, I didn’t see a lot of people that looked like me in the technology space. And that has been the case with so many minority groups. But, the world is changing and I want everyone to be able to see an example of themselves in another professional. That’s how we all rise! So, I’m dedicated to giving back to the community and helping the next generation learn how to set themselves up for success in cybersecurity
